Quinceanera

QuinceaƱera (sometimes also called Fiesta QuinceaƱera, or simply quinces) is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in communities of immigrants from Latin America. This birthday is celebrated differently from any other birthday, as it marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood.

I did my first ever Quinceanera today. It was super fun. Something I Love about the Hispanic culture is that were there is one, there are twenty. Literally there was a gang of people behind us watching, picking on her, making sure this and that was perfect. I mean what fifteen year old girl doesn't want to dress up like a bride? These were a few of my very favorites!

I always start with the feet...its what I do!

I got her once with her hair in her face. I snapped it real quick before a few aunts and sisters came running up to re pin her.

I got to dress her up right before we were leaving and made her wear what I was wearing. I love things like this!

I wish I had a Quinceanera when I was younger!
