Child Labour

Child Labor: The first general laws against child labour, the Factory Acts, were passed in Britain in the first half of the 19th century. Children younger than nine were not allowed to work and the work day of youth under the age of 18 was limited to twelve hours

MEH...Honestly, this is why we had kids, and I was thrilled each time I heard it was a boy, that meant hard labor would get done!

FACT: I have webbed toes.

Don't you love happy helpers? I'm sure they will always be like this...right?

It is so funny that you talk about child labour and the boys helping out. Not initially, but when I found out I was having boys, that is something that popped into my head. Mama's little elves! These are precious! And, who knew you had webbed feet! Cool!

Ha! Love your honesty...I'm all for making my kids be responsible and understand what work is all about; I can't wait until they get a little older, so that ACTUAL work will be accomplished ;D Love your photos...sure looks like a good time! (and, wow...I've never seen webbed toes before...awesome in a sorta freaky kinda way! :D)

Amazing to me that they are actually washing the car! My girls LOVE to help Daddy wash the car but really they are washing themselves and the driveway while playing with bubbles!
